Our Safety Protocols
We are proud to be one of the only institutions in Marin with its own medical-grade and CDC-backed Rapid Test COVID-19 Analyzer* This analyzer is owned exclusively by Terra Marin School and will be operated under the guidance of Dr. Sheryl Garrett, MD, and Dr. Stephen Daane, MD. Current Terra Marin families will have access to this testing on-site when required - testing will take 20 minutes. The ability to rapidly test our students and faculty throughout the school year coupled with our extensive protection protocols already in place (see our Protection Plan below) show that we will stay relentless in continually seeking better solutions. We would like to assure our community that we will stay dedicated to being proactive in advocating for our students, faculty and staff. As our children grow at Terra Marin School and as our community of parents, teachers and neighbors continue to do extraordinary things, we will move forward with confidence and enthusiasm.

*Terra Marin School's Covid Analyzer is a FIA Fluorescent antibody or chromatographic immunoassay for the direct and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in patients with signs and symptoms who are suspected of having COVID-19.

COMMUNITY PLEDGE
We will be following the recent adjustments to the Marin County safety protocols for the 2021/22 school year. The following handbook was provided to all schools throughout the county by the Marin Health & Human Services Department. We have been asked to disseminate this information to our families in hopes that we can all stay safe and healthy as we move throughout the year. It is important that we as a community uphold the guidelines outlined in this handbook - a team effort is required for Terra Schools (K-8 & Mandarin Preschool) to remain open for in-person learning throughout the school year.
