MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER | part time
We are seeking a talented part time Math teacher to join our middle school teaching team who will lead 1 middle school class a week, from 10:05am-11:05am, four days a week.
Qualification Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A pleasant approach to work and, ideally, a sense of humor

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in English literature or related field

A minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience

Proficient technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
-
Teach middle school math
-
Collaborate with teams to design and implement an interdisciplinary, thematic-based, experiential curriculum
-
Use the Harkness Method to teach
-
Lead an advisory group
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other Duties
-
Attendance on field trips and middle Outdoor Education Overnight

Support admission work through tours and visitors
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in education and content area a Plus

Training in Harkness Method
