Lunar New Year Festival 2022

A wonderful Cultural Experience for all ages

What an inspiring event we had to celebrate Lunar New Year. It was culturally rich, visually entertaining, and definitely heartwarming. Attendees came from all over the Bay Area (700 of them!) to share in a day of festivities celebrating the beauty of the Vietnamese, Chinese & Korean cultures, and traditions. From a spectacular Lion Dance to the Korean drum dance from the professional dance group Urisawe to a lovely Vietnamese fashion show put on by our very own students - the audience was riveted from beginning to end.

A huge thank you to all of the parents, faculty, and staff who volunteered, the LNY Executive Team who gave hundreds of hours, and to our determined LNY Chair, who worked tirelessly for months and vetted every detail. Thanks to all of your efforts, it all came together beautifully.

In speaking to attendees, we discovered that we were the only event in Marin to offer such a celebration of this wonderful holiday. We were very pleased to see an article in the Marin IJ this morning reporting the success of our event in shining a light on the beauty of these three cultures and sharing the power of multiculturalism within a community.

A special thank you for supporting our efforts, we could not have done it without you!
