Terra Marin School (TMS) is a progressive TK-8th grade school that seeks to constructively and positively contribute to the personal and intellectual growth of our students. We are committed to exposing our students to a challenging, innovative curriculum in a collaborative, supportive community. Teachers will be interacting in-person with our students in a safe manner outside (our teachers will teach with masks and practicing social distancing as well as our students). Each teacher will work side by side with an earth educator instructor. Teacher to Student ratio will be 1 to 8 Max. We are looking for teachers to work in our San Francisco locations.
Teachers are the heart of our community. Teachers will mirror and model the core values of our school by fostering their own curiosity, critical thinking, intentionality, open dialogue, and good humor. Our teachers will seek to recognize and honor the gifts each student brings to the table. Students strive to continually challenge themselves to new levels of mastery and our teachers guide our students in their journey to be engaged learners, self-advocates, and stewards of our natural environment.
